Thank you for registering to be a part of the Lobsterman Triathlon! This race only happens with the help of people like you.

We want to make your experience as easy and positive as possible by providing all the information you’ll need for Race Day!


Winslow Memorial Park, 50 Winslow Park Way, Freeport, ME 04032

From South of Freeport:

Take 295 North to exit 17, toward Yarmouth/Freeport. Turn right onto US Route 1 to head north. Go about 1 mile. Turn right onto South Freeport Rd at the Big Indian Statue. Go about 1 mile down the road and take a right onto Staples Pt. Road. is road ends at Winslow Park.

From North of Freeport:

Take 295 South to exit 19. Follow signs to Route 1 and take right onto Route 1 to head south. Go about 1 mile and take le onto South Freeport Road at the Big Indian Statue. Go about 1 mile down the road and take a right onto Staples Pt. Road. is road ends at Winslow Park.

 If you are helping on the BIKE or RUN Course:

You will meet your coordinator at the Freeport Integrated Health Building on South Freeport Rd. Click here for a Google Map. Please plan to arrive by 8:45AM so that you can receive your instructions and have time to get out to your location.

If you are helping out in Winslow Park:

Any KAYAKERS should plan to park near the Gatehouse in the first lot on the left after entering the Park. Please inform the staff that you are a volunteer.

If you are helping with REGISTRATION or other early morning jobs before going out on the BIKE or RUN course, you can park in this lot as well.

Otherwise, please inform the parking staff that you are a volunteer and follow his or her instructions to the designated parking area.

Any volunteers inside Winslow Park should report to our volunteer coordinator, who will be located under the Volunteer Check-in tent near the large pavilion. You will receive your t-shirt, and further instructions on where to go and what to do.

KAYAKERS – You will be having a special meeting at 8:15AM by the boat launch to go over safety protocols. You will be assigned a position at that time.
